Chocolate Rum Balls

1 ½ C. finely crushed chocolate wafers, about 30
½ C. powdered sugar
½ C. finely chopped walnuts
¼ C. light corn syrup
3 T. rum
½ t. shredded orange peel
¼ C. powdered sugar

In bowl, stir together chocolate wafer crumbs, ½ C. powdered sugar and chopped nuts. Stir in corn syrup, rum and orange peel. Using one level T. for each cookie, shape mixture into ¾" balls. Roll in ¼ C. powdered sugar. Store in covered container. Makes 2 to 2 ½ dozen.
