Apple Cake

Mix:

2 C. flour
2 C. sugar
2 t. cinnamon
2 t. baking soda

Add:

4 C. apples, peeled and cut into bite sized pieces
(Macintosh or Granny Smith)
1 C. chopped nuts
½ C. oil
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs

Pour into greased 9"x13" cake pan. Bake 350 for 45 minutes.

 

Frosting:

1 box powdered sugar
1 C. chopped nuts
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter
1 t. vanilla

Mix the above and spread on COOLED cake.
